Join the Constitution Party

Membership in a political party is determined at the state level (there are no national elections). In some states, voters join a party by registering to vote with a specific party. Virginia does not register by party. Membership in the Party is determined by the Party's Bylaws, Section A:

All legal and qualified voters under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, regardless of race, religion, national origin, or sex, who are in accord with the principles of the Constitution Party of Virginia, and who, if requested, express in open meeting either orally or in writing as may be required their accordance with those principles, may participate as guests of the Constitution Party of Virginia in its mass meetings, party canvasses, conventions, or primaries encompassing their respective election districts.
Virginia voters meeting the qualifications of paragraph 1 and having paid the annual dues in the amount determined by the State Central Committee shall be Members of the Constitution Party of Virginia.
A person who has made application for registration and meets all other requirements of Section A, but whose name does not appear on the local registration books solely because of the books having been closed in connection with a local election, will nevertheless be deemed a legal and qualified voter.

In summary, anyone in accord with our principles may participate in our functions. Payment of annual dues is required to become a Member of the Constitution Party in Virginia. The Central Committee has determined dues will be on a calendar year basis as follows:

One year, $25 per person (membership through Dec. 31, 2009)
Two years, $50 per person (membership through Dec. 31, 2010)

This is an individual membership; we encourage all adults in a household to join. Dues should be sent to the below address for contributions. You will receive a membership card with the expiration date of your membership. Please indicate clearly the names to be placed on your membership cards. (Note: Members joining at last year's higher rate will have their memberships extended.)

Donations for state organizing efforts are always needed. Checks should be made out to the "Constitution Party of Virginia" or "CPVA" and mailed to the address below. You must include your name, address, occupation, employer, and place of employment. No limit on contributions, corporate or personal, is imposed by State or Federal law. Not tax deductible.
